This photo was taken in South Bank, Brisbane. I used shutter speed on the ferris wheel and blurred the massive arms making it look like it is spinning really fast.

Pelican

This is a piccy of a Pelican I took at Burrum Heads, an hour or so outside Maryborough. I asked him if it was alright if I posted the picture I took, he was pretty cool about it. He's a pretty good aviator, you should see him!

Reflecting Beauty

I took this at Maryborough, Qld, as part of our sunrise to sunset project. It had been really wet and rainy for the last two days and the sun finaly broke out. I really like the way the bright red clouds reflect off the water through the trees. I haven't changed any of the photo's colours.

Early Morning Moments

This photo was taken at my property during the hours of sunrise for a class photography assignment. I like this photo because of the wide range of landscape that has been captured and the tree in the middle of the image that also includes the sunlight through its leaves.

Sunset at Rainbow.

I took this photo at Carlo Point, Rainbow Beach, Queensland. I had to climb through trees and over a hill to get this shot of the sun setting. I like the balance of the glistening sunlight dividing the water from the sky.

Golden Afternoon

I took this photo in the landscape near my house. I liked the depth created by the row of trees. The afternoon light creates interesting shadow patterns.

Cannon, Queens Park

I took this photo in Queens Park in Maryborogh. It is looking down the barrel of a massive cannon pointed at the river. Probably to destroy boats in the war.

Angels

I took this photo at the local cemetary of a statue of an Angel. I like the way the sun comes through the tree and the light along with the Angel gives the photo a magical effect. The only thing I did to this photo on photoshop was turn it black and white.

Grandma's Flowers

This photo was taken at Bamboo Land on a photography class excursion.
I like the colour of the flowers against the out of focus background.

Setting Sun Through the Grass

I took this photo at the end of a road in the bush, close to where I live. It was taken at about 5.30-6pm, just as the sun had started to set. To take the photo, I crouched down in some long grass by the side of the road, and focused in on the closer blades of grass to the left of the image. The original image was a bit dark in the foreground, so I used Photoshop to increase the saturation and vibrance levels slightly.

Leading Off

I took this image at Rainbow Beach. I was walking along the beach and saw a very interesting tyre track. I got close to the ground and took a photo as an experiment and when I looked at it... it was amazing. I like the way the tyre track leads off into the distance.

Sunrise Rainbow

The aim of this photo was to take a photo of the mary river with the reflection of the trees and sky. I thought that the rainbow and the reflection of the rainbow on the water was a really nice effect.

Forgotten

This photograph was taken on a school photography trip to the local historic cemetery. The photograph is of a railing around one of the graves, I like it for the depth of feild and the repetition.

Bamboo Land

This is one of the pictures I took on an excursion to Bamboo Land outside Maryborough. A lot of bamboo there, you'd almost think you're in China! I reckon this is pretty good since I had pesky mosquitos digging their little needle thing into my skin, I hate needles!

Childers Sunset

I took this photo on the way home from Childers one day in the June holidays, just while the sun was setting over a ploughed feild. Childers is about 45-60 minutes North of Maryborough and is filled with red dirt making the feilds really nice at sunset time.
